Milford Away Game

The Generals blew away Milford Wednesday night 76-29 at Milford. Stark controlled the tempo the entire game and was successfully able to score off of running their plays and scoring off of their 17 steals from Milford. Stark started off strong, scoring 20 points in the first quarter and only letting Milford put up 5 points. Milford had a better second quarter, scoring 14 points but the Generals already up by 15 points were able to put up 19 points with a 39-19 lead at the end of the first half. Stark came out even stronger in the third, putting up a total of 24 points with Milford only scoring 5 points. The Generals outplayed Milford in the fourth as well, outscoring Milford 13-5. Ten out of eleven of the Generals scored with Kathryn Reph, Hailey Michaud, Meghan Mefford, Emma Dobbins and Brooke Patnode all scoring 2 points. Brooke Patnode also had 2 assists and Meghan Mefford had 2 steals. Chelsea Woodsum had an amazing game, scoring 24 points for the Generals. Chelsea Woodsum also had 11 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. Anna Stenger put up 14 points with 9 rebounds and a block. Brady Johnson scored 11 points with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Lilli Stogner also contributed to the Generals win with 7 points, going 5 for 5 at the foul line and she had 8 rebounds with 3 steals. Milford had a lot of fouls, with 12 in the second half but the Generals had a tough night at the foul line going 15 for 30. S. Dobbs was Milford lead scorer with 8 points. L. StJohn and B. Johnson both put up 7 points for Milford with three other players contributed a total of 7 more points. The Generals play Spaulding tonight home at 6:00pm.
